Journal of Human Kinetics News
The year of 2024 is slowly coming to the end, and it has been a great year for the Journal of Human Kinetics. We have published 95 original papers in four regular issue, as well as the Strength & Power special issue. Close to 600 papers have been submitted, thus the acceptance rate is around 26%. The journal has received significant attention from around the world with 86% of international contributions. To increase the quality of work of the editorial team we have invited two renowned scientists i.e., prof. Irineu Loturco and prof. Jakub Chycki.
Considering that our previous special issues were of great interest to our followers, we do believe that the Basketball Strength and Conditioning special issue, which will be published in February of 2025, will draw significant attention of sport scientists, coaches and students.
I would like to take the opportunity to express my acknowledgments to all the authors that have contributed to the development of JHK and to thank the entire editorial team for the great job they have done.
